MARY TAVY COMMUNITY FIELD & HALL

Open Spaces

The Recreation Field has spaces ideal for picnicking, for walking, exercising dogs, and for enjoying the views over the moors.  There is open grassland, meadowland with wild flowers, planting areas, and a very atmospheric area of woodland.

A footpath runs through the Recreation Field close to the road, leading onto the Jubilee Walk and joining the main entrance into the Recreation Field opposite the Post Office & Stores to Bullers Hill at the side of the Mary Tavy Inn.  The Jubilee Walk is a permissive footpath created by an action group of local residents.

The Recreation Field is open to everyone, at all times, although just very occasionally a special event may have an entry charge.
