The Coronation Hall has begun a long‑overdue programme of refurbishment to ensure the building remains safe, welcoming, and sustainable for our whole community.  Following the essential surveys, we have already completed the recommended work on rising and penetrating damp, as well as tackling the long‑standing condensation issues.  The electrical installation is now being upgraded to meet current safety standards.
Our next major priority is the most urgent and costly: replacing the leaking, uninsulated roof and installing solar panels with battery storage.  This upgrade is vital not only to protect the building but also to reduce running costs and secure the Hall’s long‑term future as a warm, energy‑efficient community space.
To help fund this work, we have launched a GoFundMe appeal with a target of £50,000.  Any contribution, large or small, will make a real difference, and we would be extremely grateful if you could also share the link with your friends, family, and wider networks.
